The term "blog" was coined in 1999, and it now gets 105,000,000 google hits. Compare that to "democracy," which only gets 43,800,000.

1. What a blog is must be defined and discussed, for it a new meme. Most people operate with the idea of democracy already ingrained. It is often assumed. (Especially in countries which speak English and publish web paged)

2. Blogs only exist online. Democracy does not.

Liberty Fund logo, amagi symbol
The cuneiform inscription in the Liberty Fund logo is the earliest-known written appearance of the word "freedom" (amagi), or "liberty." It is taken from a clay document written about 2300 B.C. in the Sumerian city-state of Lagash.
