This guy seems crazy, but he's right that majoritarian democracy is just oppression of the minority by the majority. If it took 90% of the vote to elect someone or pass a law, democracy might be a reasonably fair system. But as it is, it is oppression.

Liberty Fund logo, amagi symbol
The cuneiform inscription in the Liberty Fund logo is the earliest-known written appearance of the word "freedom" (amagi), or "liberty." It is taken from a clay document written about 2300 B.C. in the Sumerian city-state of Lagash.
