Our Response to Selgin... I will miss Doris "Tanta" Dung...
It's amazing that during a resurgence of Somali piracy, I have a colleague who is an expert on both Somalia and piracy.  He's Peter Leeson, the Pirate King of Fairfax.  And now you can finally pre-order his new economic history of piracy, entitled The Invisible Hook.  Go ahead and walk the plank - you won't be disappointed.

The cuneiform inscription in the Liberty Fund logo is the earliest-known written appearance of the word "freedom" (amagi), or "liberty." It is taken from a clay document written about 2300 B.C. in the Sumerian city-state of Lagash.
