Shooting War

Beautiful Cadillac Commercial... Extra-curricular Signaling in ...
Shooting War is a dystopian graphic novel written in 2007... about the world of 2011.  You might think you'd need more than four years' distance to make dystopia credible, but the book does a marvelous job.  It's mostly set in Iraq, but it opens in Brooklyn with a diatribe against... eminent domain:
Think of eminent domain as the bastard child of Joseph Stalin and Richard Posner.  In 2005, the Supreme Court ruled in Kelo versus New London that the government could take your property and give it to a private corporation if that corporation could prove it would bring in more revenue.
Neat.

P.S. I just noticed that Brian Doherty reviewed the book for Reason in 2008.  I broadly agree, but I liked the art a lot more than he did.
