Guinivere Liberty Nell and I discussed her book, Rediscovering Fire, at an event at Heritage last week. Here is the video. I start at about minute 26.

Nell used a lot of cartoons in her talk, which may give the wrong impression. The book in fact is highly scholarly, not glib at all.

Nice talk, and your comments were interesting as well despite the fact that I'd read most of those thoughts here on EconLog.

Rediscovering Fire joins a growing list of books I wish I could download and read on my netbook or smartphone, without the encumbrance of DRM. Too bad Baen seems to be the only publisher that sells ebooks that way.
