citizens are told that the only choices they have are to either raise taxes or incur massive layoffs/program cuts. Absent from the False Duopoly is the third option: realign government compensation packages.

I agree completely with the position he takes. But I don't think that "Duopoly" is the right word here.

Agreed. The entire political class should take a significant paycut. But they are pulling out all the stops to distract the public from reaching that obvious conclusion.
