Richard Thaler Wins Nobel Prize

Irving Fisher Explains Interes... A very bad book...

My former colleague, Richard Thaler, at the University of Rochester has won the Nobel Prize in Economics this morning.

I'll be writing my regular bio for The Wall Street Journal today, which we'll post here when complete.

For that reason, I won't be blogging this morning. I will be writing the piece for the Wall Street Journal.

Congratulations to Richard Thaler. I had the chance to work with him at Xerox during the summer of 1968 and work on an early corporate application of behavioral economics in their feature-value model. Those lessons were applied often in value of service and choice models developed during my consulting career.
